The Rinker 246 Captiva Cuddy Cabin is designed for just one thing - fun day on the water. All boats are designed for a purpose. In this case the purpose is fun and the 246 Captiva is more fun than a clown at the circus. If you like to spend the day on the water, working on your tan, water skiing, wake boarding, and enjoying time with friends and family, Rinker has you in mind. This boat is the cuddy version of the 246 Captiva. It has the overnight ability missing in bow riders, other than that it's the same recreational fun package. The 246 Captive has a roomy cockpit with modern styling. Up front are helm and companion bucket seats that hold you in place when you encounter rough seas or big wakes. Behind the buckets is a wrap-around lounge that fills the rear of the cockpit. Moving back even more there is a padded sundeck for the sun-worshippers. Behind the sundeck is the integrated swim platform with rumble seat storage for wakeboards and lines. There's a transom shower to rinse off when you come back on board. The walk-through windshield provides easy access to the foredeck.Below there is an AM/FM/CD changer that comes with six months of free Sirius Satellite Radio. Six speakers in the cabin and cockpit provide all around sound. A flip-down DVD provides a diversion when the sun gets to be too much. The cabin has a convertible v-berth for a quick lunch or an overnight stay. A single burner gas stove insures morning coffee.
